Love these people. Visited them more than a year ago, so I tried visiting them again during our visit to Batemans Bay. They didn't disappoint. We were late, they almost were done, but just so that we weren't without food, they served us food and some free dessert on the house.

This is a cute spot in the middle of Tilba. It has a great porch area as well as inside seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee and bacon egg roll was one of the best we’ve ever had! Definitely worth including when visiting Tilba.

Here we are on a wet, dour cold August day, and sitting in a lovely wood panelled hous, timber floors, tucking into a mushroom risotto with baby spinach and walnuts, and a Rich roasted pumpkin soup with a crusty, freshly baked roll. This is a tasty treat in a historic timber village from the 1880s. Gold was discovered on Gulaga (named by Cptn Cook as mt dromedary) and the ensuing flood of prospectors led to Tilba Tilba. Anyway Ellen's also serves a freshly baked high scones with jam and cream. And plenty of warming black board specials. The risotto is freshly cooked with four types of mushrooms, and is finished with baby spinach and shaved parmesan. Grind a little pink salt over the top and it's taste plus. Drop by for a tasty special here. There's no gold however the service sparkles.

We had such a lovely time at Ellen’s Pantry! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and you can feel the love in every detail. We enjoyed a couple of beautiful teas, a delicious frittata, and finished with a perfectly baked apple cake that was simply divine. Everything tasted fresh, wholesome, and made with genuine care. Ellen’s Pantry is more than just a place to eat—it’s a heartfelt experience. We can’t wait to come back!

We were delighted to have lunch here today. Even though the ladies were understaffed we were greeted with friendly warm smiles and we're even offered table service. It was fantastic. Lunch was delicious and quick. We all really enjoyed our time there. Thank you all very much!

Stopped for brunch and was thoroughly charmed by the food, service and ambience of this wonderful cafe and town. Not hard to access off the highway, we enjoyed the scrambled eggs while our son demolished an egg & bacon roll. The service was friendly and homely. Well worth the stop.
